The AquaLOCK^® Sectional Door is the DOCO Flood Barrier solution. This cooperation combines AquaLOCK^® flood protection expertise with DOCO’s sectional door and component systems. As a result, the product integrates flood protection directly into a sectional door construction, developed for buildings exposed to heavy rainfall and rising water levels.

The system combines the functional benefits of a sectional door with a permanent sealing concept that limits water ingress when the door is closed. The flood protection is achieved through a continuous four-sided sealing system that activates automatically during door closure. The door is designed as a permanent solution, eliminating the need for removable barriers or manual preparation in flood situations, while remaining suitable for daily operation.

As part of the AquaLOCK^® portfolio, the sectional door complements other flood protection solutions within the range, addressing garage openings as a potential entry point for surface water while maintaining compatibility with modern door systems and installation practices.

The AquaLOCK^® Up-and-Over Garage Door provides integrated flood protection for garages and garage doors – the patented system retains up to 99.9% of water, tested and certified by IFT Rosenheim. It is the ideal solution for heavy rainfall, flooding, and flood-prone garages.

The flood protection system is integrated into the door construction and activates automatically during closure. Seals at the sides and bottom form a continuous barrier against incoming water. Depending on the configuration and door size, protection heights of up to 1600 mm are possible (with 2500 mm door height), compliant with IFT guidelines. The system is tested and certified according to applicable flood protection standards.

The AquaLOCK^® Gate is a flood protection gate designed for driveways and underground garage entrances. It is used to limit water ingress at property access points exposed to heavy rainfall or flooding. The system is suitable for entrances up to 5000 mm wide and provides flood protection heights of up to 1200 mm, keeping 99.9% of water out.

The gate can be supplied with an inward-opening or outward-opening configuration to match site conditions. Both versions feature a robust, vandal-resistant design and offer opening angles of 95° or 180°.

Certified and Tested for Maximum Safety

AquaLOCK^® Gates are certified through rigorous testing by leading institutions, ensuring proven high-level protection. In performance tests, a 4000 × 1800 mm gate achieved an exceptional leakage rate of just 0.95 liters in 24 hours, surpassing the requirements of IFT Guideline FE 07/1-2005. In real-world conditions, natural sediment in floodwater often reduces leakage even further. AquaLOCK^® Gates are available in widths of up to 5000 mm.

The AquaLOCK^® Quickwall is a tool-free, mobile flood protection solution. It's designed to protect doors, windows, elevator shafts and other building openings from heavy rain or floods. It is intended for applications where permanent flood protection systems are not feasible or where flexibility is required.

The Quickwall provides protection heights up to 1600 mm depending on system width and can be flexibly adapted with special heights for different requirements.

Installation and use

Installation is completed in three simple steps: the single-piece aluminum element is inserted into the profile guide, the system automatically locks itself, and then self adjusts to the surface. This creates a stable, immediately functioning flood protection barrier.

Customizable Models & Operation

The AquaLOCK^® Door is available in four models (V1, V2, V3, V6), each defined by its specific flood-protection activation method, with options for internal and external operation.

These models also support multiple locking configurations, allowing tailored solutions for different security and usability requirements. For larger openings, fixed side or top panels can be added to create a complete sealing system.

Thermal Insulation Options

AquaLOCK^® doors can be procuced in a thermally insulated version, improving energy efficiency with a U-value of 1.5 W/m²K. Both door panel and frame are build with thermally insulated profiles. The door panel is insulated with a mineral core material, optimizing thermal performance and reducing energy loss.

The AquaLOCK^® Flap is a compact flood protection solution designed to seal smaller openings in both interior and exterior applications. It is used where technical or service openings create a risk for water ingress.

The AquaLOCK^® Windows Protector offers a customized, easy-to-install solution for reliable flood protection of basement and building windows. Its innovative acrylic barrier with tilting function makes it the perfect retrofit option for safeguarding vulnerable openings.

Simple Installation

The AquaLOCK^® Windows Protector provides strong flood resistance for basement windows with its 15 mm solid acrylic barrier, engineered to withstand the pressure of a 2000 mm water column for up to 24 hours.

The system is easily retrofitted by adhering the barrier to the window frame with a silicone-based sealant, requiring no major structural changes. The window remains fully functional, and the barrier can be mounted on the frame or directly on the wall to fit different building conditions.
